PagerDuty allows each of your support engineers to configure their own customized notification chain. Engineers can opt to receive alerts using any combination of phone calls, SMSes, and emails. Since PagerDuty doesn't limit you to just one phone number per person, support engineers can enter both their mobile and home phone number to maximize the chance that they'll receive alerts. PagerDuty can even be configured to retry alerts if the call or SMS goes unanswered.
