Jennifer Tejada is the Executive Chair of PagerDuty, the global leader in AI-first operations management (NYSE: PD). For nearly a decade, Jennifer served as the Chair of the Board and CEO of PagerDuty where she has played a vital role in shaping the industry, establishing PagerDuty as a category leader. During her tenure, Tejada oversaw multiple major milestones, including the Company’s IPO in 2019, international expansion across APAC, EMEA, Japan and the U.S. public sector, and the continued evolution of PagerDuty from a single cloud application to an enterprise-grade AI-first operations platform and leading ecosystem, establishing a strong foundation for long-term profitable growth.
Jennifer brings to the role insight and perspective from business leadership across company stages and industries, including consumer products, cloud-based software, and AI-powered platforms. She has a successful track record in product innovation, optimizing operations, and scaling public and private enterprise technology companies. She is also an active investor in technology as an LP in multiple firms, including Accel, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Bessemer Venture Partners, Harlem Capital, Operator Collective and Penny Jar.
Prior to PagerDuty, Jennifer was CEO of Keynote Systems, where she led the company to strong, profitable growth before its acquisition by Dynatrace. Previously, she was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Mincom, leading its global strategy up to its acquisition by ABB. She has also held senior positions at Procter & Gamble and i2 Technologies.
Jennifer serves as a board member of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE: EL), and on the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Advisory Board. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior and business management from the University of Michigan, where she was a member of the women's golf team. Outside of her professional career, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, sailing and is an avid skier.
