At PagerDuty, we believe that supporting growth at every stage of the employee journey helps both individuals and the organization thrive. Our approach empowers employees to take ownership of their development, build meaningful skills for today and for the future, and reach their full potential.

Here’s how the People Development Team supports growth across the employee lifecycle:

Genesis (Global Onboarding): Our global onboarding program connects newly-hired employees to PagerDuty’s culture, values, and colleagues from Day 1. It lays the foundation for an engaging and successful start.

Performance Experience at PagerDuty (PE@PD): Goal setting, on-going check-ins, and forward-focused career and performance conversations help employees maximize impact, grow their careers, and align their goals with business priorities.

Udemy Business: Employees have access to thousands of on-demand courses on AI, leadership, and other key topics to explore new skills or deepen existing ones at their own pace.

GrowU: An annual learning stipend encourages employees to invest in their career and continuous professional development through certifications, conferences, and training aligned to individual career goals.

Hone: Opt in to a license that provides employees with access to live, expert-led coaching on essential workplace skills, including communication, feedback, and collaboration, as well as curated pathways for aspiring leaders and on AI.

PDNext: PagerDuty’s bi-monthly AI-focused Employee Learning Series designed to help employees leverage AI to boost productivity, make better decisions, and accelerate their career.

ELP@PD (Emerging Leaders Program at PagerDuty): This cohort-based program is designed to cultivate leadership potential in employees poised for greater responsibility by developing the mindset, skills, and network to grow into future leadership roles.

Coaching at PagerDuty: We offer a six-month cohort program for high-potential Individual Contributors through Senior Directors in partnership with BetterUp. Coaching supports a wide range of topics, including building trust, increasing self-awareness, and elevating impact. VP+ leaders benefit from Executive Coaching in partnership with the Hudson Institute, focusing on areas such as agility and resilience, change management, communication and influence, cultural transformation, and executive presence. We leverage a range of assessments to help executives broaden their self-awareness and amplify their impact.

Team Development: Bespoke, facilitated team sessions help intact teams to enhance collaboration, performance, and effectiveness through open reflection and dialogue. These sessions guide teams through challenges, improve communication, and foster accountability to drive long-term success.

When our people grow, PagerDuty grows. Together, these programs foster a culture where everyone has the support, flexibility, and encouragement to do their best work and build a meaningful career.
