Integrating with other systems

PagerDuty works with any system that can send email or make a simple HTTP API call. This means you can add effective alerting to virtually any system, including your own in-house software.

Email integration is a breeze. Start by creating a new email service in PagerDuty, which will have its own associated email address. Then, configure your system to send email to the email address for the service. When the service receives new alert emails, it kicks off the alerting process.
