Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer Tejada is CEO of PagerDuty. She brings to her role 25 years of unique experience, spanning mass consumer products to disruptive cloud and software solutions. Jennifer has a successful track record in product innovation, optimizing operations and scaling public and private enterprise technology companies.
Prior to her role at PagerDuty, Jennifer was the CEO of Keynote Systems where she led the company to double-digit growth in profit and customer bookings before its acquisition by Dynatrace in 2015. Before Keynote, Jennifer was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at the enterprise software company Mincom and led its global strategy up to its acquisition in 2011 by ABB. She has also held senior positions at Procter & Gamble and i2 Technologies (acquired by JDA Software.) Jennifer was named one of the Top 25 Women Leaders in SaaS by The SaaS Report in 2017 and Best DevOps Solution Provider Exec by the 2017 DevOps Dozen awards.
She currently serves as a board member of Puppet, Inc. and previously sat on the board of oOh Media. Jennifer holds a B.S. from University of Michigan.
Chief Technology Officerand Co-founder
Alex Solomon is the CTO and co-founder of PagerDuty and responsible for the strategic direction of the company's product and technology. With the mission to help critical business technologies stay up and running, Alex is passionately attuned to PagerDuty customers and digital business operations. Prior to PagerDuty, Alex spent time as a software engineer at Amazon.com, where he developed and maintained large-scale systems to help its Supply Chain run efficiently and reliably. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.S. in Software Engineering.
Chief Financial Officer
With a focus on increasing stockholder value for technology companies and a passion for driving change and enabling growth, Steven Gatoff serves as Chief Financial Officer of PagerDuty where he is responsible for all financial operations that support the company’s globally expanding business. Steven brings 25+ years of leadership and finance expertise working at technology companies like Rapid7, VeriSign and Sterling Commerce, as well as global investment banks like Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse First Boston. Prior to PagerDuty, Gatoff was CFO at Rapid7 where he led the company’s IPO and helped drive the company’s rapid global growth. Prior to that, Steven was CFO of publicly-traded iPass, Inc., a cloud-based mobility management company. Steven spent nearly a decade in investment banking after also having been an auditor with Deloitte & Touche. He is a CPA and received a B.S. in business administration and accounting from the University of Vermont and a MBA from Columbia University.
Chief Commercial Officer
Leading the strategic and internal execution of the company, Howard Wilson serves as Chief Commercial Officer at PagerDuty where he is responsible for providing ongoing customer value and leading efforts that empower people and decision-making. Wilson brings more than 30 years of software, services and operational management experience. Prior to PagerDuty, Wilson oversaw the SaaS business at Dynatrace, the leader in Application Performance Management. Previously, Wilson was Chief Operating Officer at Keynote where he was responsible for all customer-facing operations. Wilson also served as Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Ventyx, where he was responsible for a broad portfolio of functions including business planning, sales operations and recurring revenue operations. He spent 14 years at Oracle in various senior leadership roles.
Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Psychology from the University of South Africa
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Steven Chung leads PagerDuty’s worldwide sales organization. Driven with a relentless focus on customer success and value, his 20+ years of experience enabled some of the world’s leading companies to improve their ROI on technology, such as Demandware, Symantec, and MicroStrategy as well as software a service start-ups. Chung recently served as the Chief Revenue Officer at OneLogin. Prior to that, he was head of worldwide sales at Demandware where he led the company's growth from $80M in annual revenue after its IPO in 2012 to $300M in 2016. In addition to sales leadership, Chung worked as an IT consulting principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers and served as a US Army Officer after college. He holds a MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA from the University of Michigan, where he played on the men's soccer team.
Senior Vice President of Product Development
Always seeking to maximize the value to users from technology innovation, Tim Armandpour leads PagerDuty’s products and engineering. Tim brings nearly 20 years experience in technology to PagerDuty. Prior to joining PagerDuty, Tim led product and engineering teams at Yapstone, a global payments solutions provider, responsible for annual payments volume north of $14 billion and revenue north of $100 million. Before Yapstone, Tim led global engineering teams at PayPal delivering new product experiences across mobile devices, tablet, and the web. Prior to PayPal’s acquisition of Zong, a global leader in mobile payments, Tim served as Vice President Engineering and helped the company scale to support near 10x growth in business. Tim also was Vice President Engineering at SendMe Mobile. During Tim’s tenure at SendMe, the company grew its technology team from one to 50 and generated $120M in annual revenue. Tim began his career at Yodlee, a leader in financial services technology solutions, as a lead engineer and left the company as its Senior Director Engineering. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from UC San Diego and has been awarded 4 US patents.
Senior Vice President of People
Driven by a passion to develop strategic people operations for diverse global businesses, Sophie Kitson leads PagerDuty’s human resources, talent and office vibe. Kitson works closely with various Venture Capital firms as a leadership, organization design and human capital executive consultant, offering insights to some of the bay area’s most successful technology companies. She has worked with some of the technology industry's most recognizable brands; Accenture, Salesforce, Mercury Interactive, Hewlett-Packard, CA Technologies. Kitson is also an Executive Coach with a private practice bringing mentoring and coaching to senior executives across Silicon Valley. She started her career as a developer and has worked designing and implementing technology and strategic human capital programs for over 25 years. Kitson earned her joint honors degree in history and politics from the University of York in the United Kingdom.
Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing
Jonathan Rende has more than 25 years of experience in the mobile, performance management and quality industries and has held various Product, Marketing and Engineering executive roles during this time at Informix, Mercury Interactive/HP Software, Appcelerator and Keynote. He most recently served as the Chief Product and Engineering Officer of Castlight Health, Inc. for the past two years to focus on delivering and launching to market their next generation predictive analytics platform for enterprises. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
General Manager of Growth
With a passion for delighting customers and product excellence, Rebecca heads up our growth business unit, focused on enhancing the customer journey between acquisition, retention and growth. Previously, Rebecca was the Chief Marketing Officer at SentinelOne, leading global marketing, including brand, messaging, channel marketing and go-to-market strategy. Before SentinelOne, Kline was an early employee at Malwarebytes, the leading advanced malware prevention and remediation solution, and was instrumental in building the company's worldwide marketing strategy and team which grew from one to more than 100 employees during her six-year tenure. Kline drove a high-velocity sales and marketing model for Malwarebytes with yearly revenue growth at 50 to 100% each year, and played a key role in corporate strategy, customer experience and product roadmap. Rebecca is currently undergoing a joint MBA degree from Brown University and Instituto Empresa, finishing in May 2018.
