Senior Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Strategy
Jukka Alanen leads our business development & alliances, corporate development, and corporate strategy. Jukka brings a distinctive record of success in driving business growth and strategic expansion across VC-backed start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to PagerDuty, Jukka was VP of Business Development & Corporate Strategy at Black Duck where he contributed to more than tripling the company’s value in 2.5 years in secure DevOps and open source management. Jukka was also VP of Business Development & Corporate Strategy at Arxan where he helped the company become No. 1 in application protection for mobile and IoT and grow revenue by 5x. Previously, Jukka was VP of Business Development and Alliances for Symantec and led the company’s $900M strategic partnerships portfolio and expansion into several new markets and product categories. Before Symantec, Jukka was a top management consultant with McKinsey & Company for six years, leading strategy, growth, M&A, new product, and go-to-market initiatives for high-tech companies. He holds two Master's degrees: M.Sc. in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology and M. Sc. in Economics & Business Administration from Helsinki School of Economics.

Always seeking to maximize the value to users from technology innovation, Tim Armandpour leads PagerDuty’s products and engineering. Tim brings nearly 20 years experience in technology to PagerDuty. Prior to joining PagerDuty, Tim led product and engineering teams at Yapstone, a global payments solutions provider, responsible for annual payments volume north of $14 billion and revenue north of $100 million. Before Yapstone, Tim led global engineering teams at PayPal delivering new product experiences across mobile devices, tablet, and the web. Prior to PayPal’s acquisition of Zong, a global leader in mobile payments, Tim served as Vice President Engineering and helped the company scale to support near 10x growth in business. Tim also was Vice President Engineering at SendMe Mobile. During Tim’s tenure at SendMe, the company grew its technology team from one to 50 and generated $120M in annual revenue. Tim began his career at Yodlee, a leader in financial services technology solutions, as a lead engineer and left the company as its Senior Director Engineering. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from UC San Diego and has been awarded 4 US patents.
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Services
Steven Chung leads PagerDuty’s worldwide field operations including sales, customer success, consulting, support and education services. Driven with a relentless focus on customer success and value, his 20+ years of experience enabled some of the world’s leading companies to improve their ROI on technology, such as Demandware (Salesforce.com); Symantec; and MicroStrategy as well as software-as-a-service start-ups. Prior to PagerDuty, Steven served as head of worldwide sales at Demandware where he led the company's growth from $80M in annual revenue after its IPO in 2012 to $300M in 2016, when the company was acquired by Salesforce.com for $2.8 Billion dollars. In addition to sales leadership, Steven worked as an IT consulting principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers and served as a US Army Officer after college. He holds a MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA from the University of Michigan, where he played on the men's soccer team.
SVP, Legal and General Counsel
Stacey Giamalis is a business and technology lawyer who has 20 years’ experience as a chief legal counsel and board advisor for technology companies in various sectors including enterprise SaaS and enterprise software, mostly with publicly traded companies. Before joining PagerDuty, Stacey served as the chief legal officer of Apigee, a publicly traded company offering an enterprise-grade SaaS API management platform operating at the "edge" of enterprise networks. Over her career Stacey has successfully handled a wide variety of typical, and not-so-typical, legal and other matters affecting technology companies.
Ms. Giamalis earned her J.D. degree from U.C. Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) and her B.A. degree from U.C. Davis. Ms. Giamalis has lived and worked internationally, and although born and raised in Palo Alto, California she is also a citizen of an EU member state.

Driven by a passion to develop the best working environment for diverse global organizations, Zarah Gulamhusein leads PagerDuty’s People organization focused on attracting, retaining and developing the best talent. She brings more than 17 years of global human resources experience working directly with leadership teams at start-ups to established companies in the technology industry. Prior to joining PagerDuty, she served as the Senior Director of HRBP and Leadership Development at Glu Mobile leading a team of HR professionals across the US, Canada, India, Russia and China. Previously, she served as the Director of Human Resources at Advent Software where she grew her team and supported 1200+ employees in 12 countries. During her tenure at Advent, the company was recognized as a Best Places to Work in the Bay Area multiple years in a row. She has also held various HR positions in M&A, recruiting, compensation, benefits and operations. Gulamhusein holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Honors from Queen’s University in Canada. She has lived in England, Canada and now calls San Francisco her home.
Executive Director, Social Impact and Corporate Responsibility
Committed to proving the business case for social impact, Olivia brings 15 years of experience as a practitioner and thought leader in global social impact. She joins PagerDuty to define the company’s social impact strategy and Pledge 1% efforts.
Most recently, she built Yahoo’s global corporate responsibility program, Yahoo for Good, to mobilize the company's technology and human capital to positively benefit society. The program encompassed Tech for Good product and cause marketing initiatives, employee giving and volunteering campaigns and disaster response. Prior to Yahoo, she worked with Ashoka to create innovative social impact programs that supported social entrepreneurs and enhanced brand equity with companies including American Express and Ben & Jerry’s. In 2008 she launched CauseCapitalism.com, an online resource to help businesses grow by embedding social purpose. Her approach stems from cross-sector experience working with the public sector, tech companies and nonprofits, and in international development in Micronesia. Olivia holds a B.A. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania (where she coxed men’s crew for four years), and serves as the board chair for GreatNonprofits.
General Manager of Growth
With a passion for delighting customers and product excellence, Rebecca heads up our growth business unit, focused on enhancing the customer journey between acquisition, retention and growth.
Previously, Rebecca was the Chief Marketing Officer at SentinelOne, leading global marketing, including brand, messaging, channel marketing and go-to-market strategy. Before SentinelOne, Rebecca was an early employee at Malwarebytes, the leading advanced malware prevention and remediation solution, and was instrumental in building the company's worldwide marketing strategy and team which grew from one to more than 100 employees during her six-year tenure. Rebecca drove a high-velocity sales and marketing model for Malwarebytes with yearly revenue growth at 50 to 100% each year, and played a key role in corporate strategy, customer experience and product roadmap.
She currently holds a joint Executive MBA degree from Brown University and Instituto Empresa.
Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing
Jonathan Rende has more than 25 years of experience in the mobile, performance management and quality industries and has held various Product, Marketing and Engineering executive roles during this time at Informix, Mercury Interactive/HP Software, Appcelerator and Keynote. He most recently served as the Chief Product and Engineering Officer of Castlight Health, Inc. for the past two years to focus on delivering and launching to market their next generation predictive analytics platform for enterprises. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Chief Technology Officerand Co-founder
Alex Solomon is the CTO and co-founder of PagerDuty and responsible for the strategic direction of the company's product and technology. With the mission to help critical business technologies stay up and running, Alex is passionately attuned to PagerDuty customers and digital business operations. Prior to PagerDuty, Alex spent time as a software engineer at Amazon.com, where he developed and maintained large-scale systems to help its Supply Chain run efficiently and reliably. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.S. in Software Engineering.
Chief Executive Officer
Jennifer Tejada is CEO of PagerDuty. She brings to her role 25 years of unique experience, spanning mass consumer products to disruptive cloud and software solutions. Jennifer has a successful track record in product innovation, optimizing operations and scaling public and private enterprise technology companies.
Prior to her role at PagerDuty, Jennifer was the CEO of Keynote Systems where she led the company to strong, profitable growth before its acquisition by Dynatrace in 2015. Before Keynote, Jennifer was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at the enterprise software company Mincom and led its global strategy up to its acquisition in 2011 by ABB. She has also held senior positions at Procter & Gamble and i2 Technologies (acquired by JDA Software.) Jennifer was named one of the Top 25 Women Leaders in SaaS by The SaaS Report in 2017 and Best DevOps Solution Provider Exec by the 2017 DevOps Dozen awards.
She currently serves as a board member of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE: EL) and Puppet, Inc. She previously sat on the board of oOh Media. Jennifer holds a B.S. from University of Michigan.
Chief Financial Officer
Leading the strategic and internal execution of the company, Howard Wilson serves as Chief Commercial Officer at PagerDuty where he is responsible for providing ongoing customer value and leading efforts that empower people and decision-making. Wilson brings more than 30 years of software, services and operational management experience. Prior to PagerDuty, Wilson oversaw the SaaS business at Dynatrace, the leader in Application Performance Management. Previously, Wilson was Chief Operating Officer at Keynote where he was responsible for all customer-facing operations. Wilson also served as Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Ventyx, where he was responsible for a broad portfolio of functions including business planning, sales operations and recurring revenue operations. He spent 14 years at Oracle in various senior leadership roles.
