PagerDuty CTO to Discuss Innovation in Technology at Amazon’s AWS re:Invent Conference

Andrew Miklas Joins Fireside Chat Hosted by Amazon CTO Dr. Werner Vogels for a Behind the Scenes Look at Decision-Making in Startups

San Francisco – November 10, 2014 — PagerDuty, the leader in operations performance management, today announced its CTO, Andrew Miklas, will join a fireside chat hosted by Amazon’s CTO, Dr. Werner Vogels, at this year’s AWS re:Invent conference. AWS re:Invent is the largest gathering of the global Amazon Web Services community, and will be held this year from November 12-15 at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The fireside chat will explore the mindsets of the technical leaders behind some of the most progressive and innovative startups in the world. Attendees will learn what happens behind the scenes, how pivotal technology and AWS infrastructure decisions are made, and the thinking that leads to products and services that disrupt and reshape how businesses and people use technologies day to day. Also joining the discussion are Chris Wanstrath, CTO and Co-Founder, GitHub and Seth Proctor, CTO, NuoDB.

Miklas’ participation on the fireside chat comes on the heels of PagerDuty’s most recent addition to their growing partner ecosystem. On November 10, SaltStack, automation software for Web-scale infrastructure operations, will be joining 100 other partners in PagerDuty’s rapidly expanding network, including AppDynamics, Keynote, New Relic, Nagios, Sensu and StatusCake.
