San Francisco – February 24, 2016 – PagerDuty, the pioneer in agile incident management, today announced over 100-percent year-over-year increase in bookings growth from its enterprise business; the appointment of a new vice president of product marketing; and, investments in its platform capabilities and technology partnerships with the industry’s top digital accelerators in DevOps and IT Operations, including New Relic, ServiceNow, Puppet, Slack and Splunk.
In 2015, PagerDuty surpassed all yearly growth targets and demonstrated broad-based demand with fast adoption in the enterprise and continued leadership in the SMB vertical markets. With over 100-percent Year-Over-Year enterprise business growth and 93-percent overall business growth, the company continued to gain acceptance in nearly every industry and across geographies. The customer roster, more than 7,000 strong, now includes premier enterprises and more than 50 “unicorn” organizations, such as Airbnb, AppDynamics, Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN), Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU), Panasonic (TYO: 6752), SAP’s Concur Technologies and Twilio.
“PagerDuty’s growth is validation of its vision for modernizing the incident management process for the digital- and software-defined business,” said Alex Solomon, CEO and co-founder, PagerDuty. “We continue to put the customer first and are driving product innovations, strategic partner integrations and building an incredibly talented team. Our investments will allow PagerDuty to deliver on our vision to become the transformative incident management platform that helps our customers deliver on the promise of agility and stability.”
Facing a proliferation of monitoring, deployment and ticketing tools, organizations are looking for agile solutions to streamline incident management to run always-on services. With the introduction of Event Enrichment and Aggregation, Incident Urgencies, Advanced Analytics and Rich Incidents in 2015, the PagerDuty incident management platform continues to see increased user confidence and adoption. An expanded ecosystem of over 150 native integrations with technology and solution partners including New Relic, ServiceNow, Puppet, Slack and Splunk continue to provide IT, DevOps and Helpdesk teams a central hub to resolve incidents and improve customer value and experiences.
To support PagerDuty’s growth and expansion, the company announces the appointment of Astha Malik as its vice president of product marketing. Malik will be responsible for leading and evolving the PagerDuty product and alliance marketing strategy to continue to drive the company’s vision of delivering the industry’s most agile incident management platform. As a change agent for the go-to-market strategy and growth marketing, Malik has generated millions of dollars for both high-growth startups and premier technology brands. She comes to PagerDuty from Sumo Logic, where she established the product marketing function from the ground up and previously, at Citrix Systems, where she built and ran the product marketing function for the company’s first enterprise-focused SaaS offering. Malik’s appointment follows the additions of Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Richard Steinhart and Vice President of Engineering, Tim Armandpour.
