Front Integration Guide

Trigger powerful SLA and incident alerts in PagerDuty from Front.

Front is the first inbox for teams that brings all your external communications into one place. Teams can collaborate around every communication channels — email, social, chat, voice and more.

In Front

  1. In Front, navigate to your Account Settings, select Integrations and click on PagerDuty.
  2. Click on the Enable Integration button and turn the toggle on to enable PagerDuty. Click on the Sign in to PagerDuty button and link your account.
  3. In the pop up authentication window, enter your login credentials to your PagerDuty account and click the Authorize Integration button.
  4. Choose the Service Name and Escalation Policy you’d like to use for the triggered Front message and click on the Finish Integration button.
  5. Click on the Save button to finish enabling the PagerDuty integration in Front.
  6. To create a rule for PagerDuty alerts, navigate to your Account Settings, select Rules, and click on the Add a team rule button.
  7. Set up your conditions (more information can be found in the Understanding rules article), and choose the action Trigger in PagerDuty and click on the Save button!

Can I connect Front to more than one service in PagerDuty?

Front can currently only be connected to a single service in PagerDuty.
