  • How many users do I need?

    Every person added to your PagerDuty account is a paid user, including those who are receiving notifications or are included in a schedule.

  • How does the 14-day trial work?

    Our trial is a full-featured free trial for 14 days that you can start using instantly. No credit card required so you won’t be charged until you are ready to buy. When you are ready, select any of the available plans to continue using PagerDuty.

  • What are my payment options?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB through your online account. Want to pay via invoice? Sure! We’ll gladly set up an annual invoice. Just call or contact us.

  • How many systems can I monitor?

    You can monitor as many or as few systems as you want with PagerDuty. Whether you want to monitor one computer with Nagios or use Datadog, Icinga and Zenoss to monitor hundreds of applications across thousands of hosts, we won't charge you extra. We have 300+ pre-built integrations so you can connect PagerDuty to your monitoring tools of choice.

  • How many notifications are included in my account?

    Notifications can be sent by email, push, SMS, and phone. All customers get unlimited email and push notifications. Team, Business and Digital Operations plans also get unlimited global SMS and phone notifications. Starter customers receive unlimited SMS and phone notifications based on billing country and 25 free global SMS and phone notifications per users, additional global notifications are $0.35/notification.

  • What if I need more global notifications?

    One of the best parts about our methodology is that we bundle and de-dupe notifications so you're not paying for extras. The other great news is that we pool the number of global phone and SMS notifications given to each user. For example, if you have 6 users on the Starter plan, you will have 150 free global notifications each month. Need more? They're only $.35 each. By the way, we support notifications to over 170 countries

  • Can I only purchase Event Intelligence, Modern Incident Response, Visibility or Analytics?

    You will have to purchase Team or Business to be able to purchase Event Intelligence, Modern Incident Response, Visibility or Analytics. Digital Operations plan includes Event Intelligence, Modern Incident Response, Analytics, and Visibility.

  • Can I purchase Event Intelligence or Modern Incident Response or Visibility or Analytics for a subset of my users?

    No. The number of users on Event Intelligence, Modern Incident Response or Visibility have to match the number of users on your Team or Business plan. However, you can purchase Analytics for a subset of your users.

  • Are there any lower cost options for users who are not responders?

    You can purchase lower cost user license for business stakeholders who can read-only access to your PagerDuty products. If you purchase Modern Incident Response, stakeholder users can subscribe to incidents for real-time updates during critical outages to improve organization-wide response.

  • What happened to Standard Plan?

    PagerDuty retired Standard Plan in September 2018. If you are on Standard plan, you have capabilities of both Business and Modern Incident Response. As an early adopter, you are also receiving Time-based Alert Grouping as part of your plan even though this feature is now only available to customers that have purchased Event Intelligence or the Digital Operations plan.

  • How much do stakeholder users cost?

    We sell stakeholder users in following user tiers:

    $150/month for 50 users
    $700/month for 250 users
    $1250/month for 500 users
    $2000/month for 1000 users
    $7500/month for 5000 users

    For example, if you need more than 50 stakeholder users, you will need to purchase 250 users.
