We at PagerDuty have had a lot to be thankful for—2017 was a whirlwind of excitement and a number of firsts. As we look ahead to 2018, we wanted to take a look back at the past year and share the top 5 things we’re thankful for.
5. Ramping Up Growth
Like a Chia Pet on steroids, we’re growing fast. In 2017, we opened offices in London and Sydney, were included in Deloitte’s 2017 Technology Fast 500 and the Forbes 2017 Cloud 100 lists, and received numerous awards for our industry-leading platform.
4. Making Your Life Easier
We work hard at PagerDuty so you can rest easy. Well, easier than without PagerDuty, anyway. We processed 2.4 billion inbound events, created 92.7 million incidents, and received 10.5 billion REST API requests. With those numbers in mind, we also made it easier for you to ACK—whether you’re glued to your desk on your computer or on-the-go on your phone. 3. Giving Back
We are grateful for your support, which enables us to give back to our local communities. Take a look at the infographic to see which charities Dutonians supported this year, as well as organizations that promote diversity and inclusion in tech.
2. Expanding Our Community
We launched our new developer community this year and hosted two Breakathons. Additionally, our Summit Series made stops in seven cities, including London, New York, and Toronto.
Most of all, we’re thankful for you. We wouldn’t be where we are without you, and we appreciated your repeated requests for PagerDuty sweatpants (by far the most-wanted swag for the second year in a row), loved sharing our style with you in the form of ~5,000 fashionable PagerDuty T-shirts, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing your 626 on-call selfies.
