PagerDuty is Honored as a Top Place to Work

Culture is a big deal at PagerDuty, which makes being honored as a Top Workplace by the Bay Area News Group all the more exciting. The Top Workplaces program recognizes exceptional employers on 30 regional lists and one national list. The evaluations for the list are based purely on employee opinions, making it a great honor. In addition to the Top Workplaces award, PagerDuty has been recognized with several other awards in 2016 including, the 11th Annual 2016 IT World Awards® given by Network Product Guide and the 2016 American Business Awards with a Silver Stevie® Award for Customer Service. Finally, the California Diversity Council recognized our VP of Marketing, Astha Malik with a multi cultural leadership award this summer.

Company culture — alongside award winning customer service and product development — contribute to our ongoing achievements. We focus heavily on hiring the right people who are supportive colleagues, invested in our collective success, without egos or arrogance, and growing our people. We develop strong managers who learn from great leaders, and provide interesting and challenging work – and do so while staying true to our core values of collaboration, transparency, diversity and maintaining an admirable work-life balance. We also like to have fun by bringing our people together for events focused on getting to know each other, supporting our Bay Area community, and learning from one another. We strive to create a team culture that enables employees to do the best work of their careers here at PagerDuty. To be recognized by our employees for being a great place to work is truly an honor. We are excited about upcoming programs that will support our employees in even more aspects of their personal and professional lives.

In addition to offering a great place to work, we are focused on offering our customers the best product that brings data, process and people together for incident management that results in digital business reliability and brand loyalty. On September 13th we’ll be bringing customers together for the first-ever PagerDuty Summit, which is all about accelerating digital business. We have exciting speakers, such as Gene Kim, a leading authority on DevOps, as well as Maynard Webb, the Chairman of the Board at Yahoo!. We’d be delighted to see you there.

Finally, we are hiring! Be apart of our growing business, while growing your career.
