PagerDuty Welcomes Julie Herendeen as Chief Marketing Officer

by Jennifer Tejada September 5, 2019 | 2 min read

PagerDuty has pioneered the Digital Operations Management market, from our first on-call product to the real-time platform that our customers rely on today. Our founders know what it’s like to carry a pager and be on call. They created PagerDuty to make life easier for people like themselves, and people have remained at the heart of our journey as we’ve grown into new markets and use cases.

Today, as we continue to lead and evolve the market, connecting to our customers and communicating the value of digital operations management is more important than ever. To help us accomplish that, we’re excited to announce that Julie Herendeen has joined PagerDuty as CMO.

Julie’s not new to our team—she’s been on our advisory board for two years and rolled up her sleeves to help with our transition to a public company over the past six months.

Julie brings a wealth of leadership and marketing experience to PagerDuty, having scaled successful global marketing organizations at companies like Uber, Dropbox, and Lookout, as well as leading product organizations at Yahoo! Netscape and Apple. Julie has a passion for building integrated marketing teams at global scale and exemplifies the PagerDuty values. We’re thrilled to welcome Julie to PagerDuty!
