PagerDuty Summit ‘22: A Summit Designed with YOU in Mind

Here at PagerDuty one of our most important values is “Championing the Customer” – this means doing everything we can to improve the lives of the people who interact with our business and our team. So when we began planning for PagerDuty Summit, we needed to hear from you on what kind of conference you wanted to experience this year and what was most critical to improving your day to day life. 

The survey results are in and the message is clear. Past Summit audiences told us they wanted:

  2. Technical Trainings: Deepening skill sets through a variety of hands-on experiences
  3. Equitable Online Access: Providing free, on-demand access to Summit content
  4. Safety First: Keeping you and our team safe at every step

We designed this year’s program with your responses in mind. Whether you plan to join us virtually or in Sydney or London, you will find a people-centric approach at the heart of every facet of the program. 

Curated Connections

According to Summit 2021 survey responses, 60% of you said that the human connection was the most critical component you’ve missed. With this in mind, we’ve created an immersive learning environment so you can learn from one another directly. 

While the day starts with everyone together listening to keynotes, the entire rest of the in-person program is interactive. You can join topic based roundtables and “Ask Me Anythings,” moderated by PagerDuty’s product team with PagerDuty customers as guest experts. Not only will you get to bring your questions to the table, you’ll have direct access to a new network of peers facing similar challenges, and who have experience implementing these same solutions. We even selected the topics by letting your most frequently asked questions lead the way. 

These small, private sessions are an  opportunity for attendees to share honestly about their struggles, and share openly about possible solutions. 

Technical Trainings

This year we’re expanding the workshops and technical trainings being led by PagerDuty University. We will hold three full online certification courses for each region for all attendees. This means whether you are attending in-person or online, you get access to these certifications for free – a $7500 value! 

Equitable Online Access

On-demand access to short form content allows everyone in our community to learn from one another regardless of location, time zone, schedule, or budget. As part of fulfilling PagerDuty’s vision is that of an equitable world, this year we will continue to produce our online session catalog, adding over fifty new sessions that you can view anytime, from anywhere, for free. This is our commitment to you, in fulfillment of that vision, so that you can transform your critical work and build trust with your customers. The keynotes will also be live streamed, and all content will be available for thirty days following Summit so that you can empower your team with the sessions you find most compelling  – including those free PagerDuty University Certifications. 

Safety First

The safety of you and our team is of the utmost importance, and 80% of you agreed. We will continue to monitor local recommended guidelines, and are requiring proof of vaccination for all in-person attendance. We intentionally curated these regional programs to better allow for social distancing and to minimize the amount of travel required. We want to see you, and we want you to feel safe seeing us too!
